Here are some vocabulary terms related to health and safety issues:

Hazard: Something that has the potential to cause harm, such as a chemical, equipment, or a physical condition.

Risk assessment: The process of identifying hazards and evaluating their potential risks to determine appropriate control measures.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Protective clothing, helmets, goggles, or other equipment designed to protect individuals from hazards.

Ergonomics: The study of designing and arranging equipment and workspaces to fit the capabilities and limitations of individuals, reducing the risk of injury or strain.

Accident prevention: Measures taken to eliminate or reduce the risk of accidents or incidents in the workplace.

Safety regulations: Rules and guidelines established by regulatory bodies to ensure the health and safety of workers and the general public.

Emergency evacuation: The organized and rapid movement of people from a potentially dangerous situation or location to a safe area.
